What each list publishes

TopG

The broadest list here, with about 1 million unique visitors a month by its own count. Voting is every 6 hours behind a captcha, rankings reset on the 1st of the month, and rewards work through a PHP postback or Minecraft Votifier. Its FAQ says rank comes from votes and server uptime, while its terms say unique votes only, so the two pages disagree. Premium bonus votes feed the ranking, and ad prices sit behind a login.

Top100Arena

Not the same site as Arena-Top100 (top100arena.com versus arena-top100.com). A free listing appears in the rankings after 10 votes. Gold is $20 a month, and promoted listings are billed per click from $0.25 with a $50 minimum deposit. Its advertising page says "Rankings are based on player votes only" and that Gold "improves your listing's presentation, not its vote-based rank", while its Gold page says Gold listings "start each month with a small vote head start". Reward callbacks come as an incentive postback and an IP-check API.

GTop100

The biggest game menu, 66 entries including generic buckets like "Free Online Games". One vote per internet connection every 24 hours, and the rules ban automated voting, proxies and VPNs. Premium costs $15 a month and adds a banner with a different background plus "a HUGE boost of ranking at the beginning of every month". Ad spots (a 955x90 banner above the toplist and five 468x60 spots) are priced inside a login-only form and are non-refundable. Rewards run through a pingback, an XML incentive report or Votifier.

XtremeTop100

63 MMORPG titles, a vote every 12 hours after a human-verification step, and a reset every 31 days. Gold membership adds a featured banner, a gold title and badge, priority visibility, 100 bonus votes a month and access to the postback system, which means reward integration is a paid perk there. Gold and banner prices are not shown without logging in. On its homepage we counted 43 Gold boxes among the 50 listings (page source, 19 October 2026). It reports roughly 600,000 pageviews a day.

Arena-Top100

57 categories, two votes a day behind a captcha, and premium plans from $10 for 28 days to $52 for 364 days, each tier adding 100 to 400 bonus votes. Its FAQ says "No you cannot buy votes, but by becoming a premium member you will get free votes each month". On its homepage 18 of the top 25 rows carry the premium styling (page source, 19 October 2026). It reports about 60,000 pageviews a day.

RuneList

RuneScape only, free for up to five servers per account, one vote per server every 12 hours with a picture question and a VPN and proxy filter. It is the only list here that publishes a full ad price list: $1,000 for a sponsored entry above rank 1, $100 for a toplist ad, $150 for a sidebar or vote gateway ad and $250 for a premium glow, all per 30 days. Those spots currently show as not bookable. Its rule is "Ads never change the toplist ranking", and reward callbacks are a GET request with optional signing.

MMO Toplist

270 servers across RuneScape, World of Warcraft, Minecraft, Metin2, Lineage II, MU Online, MapleStory and Silkroad Online. Listing is free and a person reviews each submission. You can vote once per server every 12 hours with no account, every vote passes a Cloudflare Turnstile check, and the ranking resets on the 1st at 00:00 UTC with ties listed oldest first. Paid slots cost EUR 29, 79, 149 and 199 a month. A Highlight keeps your normal position and adds a Promoted badge, while Sponsored cards and Spotlights sit in their own labelled areas. Owners can set a signed vote callback to reward voters.

Our weak spot is size. We started in August 2026, we are far smaller than TopG or XtremeTop100, and we do not publish traffic numbers yet.

Can you buy rank on these lists?

On five of the seven, a paid plan comes with bonus votes or a ranking boost: TopG, GTop100, XtremeTop100, Arena-Top100 and, through its monthly head start, Top100Arena. Where a plan includes bonus votes, a server can start the month ahead of an equally popular free one. Only RuneList and MMO Toplist publish a rule with no bonus-vote exception: you can pay for visibility, and the order is still decided by votes.

For owners that is the useful way to read a price list. A cheap premium plan with bonus votes is paying for rank. A labelled banner is paying for attention. Our vote-site economics guide covers how the vote economy gets gamed.

Which list to use

Listing is free on all seven, so the cost is your time and your reward wiring. Most scenes do best on two or three lists:

  • RuneScape: RuneList plus one big multi-game list. See the RuneScape private server list.
  • Metin2, Lineage 2, MU Online: the multi-game lists have the most traffic. Our Metin2 server list is free to join as well.
  • Rewards: check the callback before you commit. XtremeTop100 puts its postback behind Gold, while RuneList and MMO Toplist offer callbacks on free listings.

You can add a server to ours with the free listing form in about two minutes.

What we could not verify

  • Prices behind a login are marked "not public". We did not create accounts to see them.
  • Traffic figures are each site's own claims, not measurements.
  • TopG, Top100Arena and GTop100 sit behind Cloudflare and returned 403 to plain requests, so we read them with a normal browser user agent. What you see may differ by region.
  • Page-source counts (Gold boxes, premium rows) change with every refresh, and rules and prices change without notice. Check each site's own pricing page before you pay.
